The kinder garden

The team of the instructors is happy to welcome your children and wishes you a pleasant stay in one of the biggest playground on earth.

 The kinder garden at Samoens 1600 is reserved to children aged 3 to 6 years old, beginners or having the Piou-piou badge. The oldest will stay there only for their initiation, leaving the place to the smallest, their games and their teddy bears.
After one week of garden, the children will be able to wear the badge "Piou Piou" or Bear cub according to their progression in Alpine skiing. Test organised on Friday. You can buy the badge in of our offices.

On snow, the child is a king. The kinder garden, is a safe perimeter, a modulated ground, where children are put under standard conditions of ski without danger.
A small chalet will warm your children up and to make rest the most tired to alternate the pleasure of ski, play, rest and dry the gloves often wet.
A ski lift well adapted will be the marvellous horse-gear of this garden. It is located at the top of the "Grand Massif Express".

Rewards : The "Piou piou" rewards the first steps on skis. The "Ourson" rewards the first snow plough with skis.

February school holidays : 10.00 to 12.15 pm -- 12.45 to 2.45 pm (reserved for children aged 3 and 4 years old) -- 3.00 to 5.15 pm

April : 9.30 to 12 am -- 1.30 to 4.00 pm

With the label "Famille Plus Montagne", we can escort your children to their ski classes.
That includes: Ski lessons, escort, nursery and lunch.

 Advices

For your Mum and Dad

• Not to ask too much of you: skiing is not like being at school. A bit in the morning and a bit in the afternoon is often enough.

• Not to stay near the kinder garden club all the time to watch you. It's often better when you can't see mummy or daddy, because if they are there you might cry and make more of a fuss!

• To have your bindings adjusted to suit your weight, height and ability.

• Not to worry if you are not progressing fast enough for them: skiing should be fun.

• To set a good example. You learn a lot by copying them.
